The Board comprises: seven Directors elected by the Members; the Chairmen of two embedded Clubs (The Canning Club and Den Norske Klub); and up to three co-opted additional Directors. The "In and Out Limited" Board is directly elected by the Members and serves the same purpose as "The Committee" in most other Clubs. Board Members serve for three years before re-election and can only serve three three year terms before retirement is obligatory. A period of one year must then elapse before a three term Board member is eligible for re-election to the Board.
The Directors bring both broad and specialist experience to the table. The Club Chairman and Vice Chairman are elected by the other Directors. The Board is the Club's principal governing committee and is responsible for the Club's financial viability, its general management and well being, and for preserving the Club for future generations.
