Lighting of the Christmas Tree Drinks

Since 1947 the Norwegian people have donated a Christmas tree to the British people as a sign of our gratitude for their support and help during WW2.

For many Norwegians and Brits, the ceremony of the lighting of the Norwegian Christmas by the Mayors of Oslo and Westminster is an important pre-Christmas event, a sign of remembrance of cooperation amongst longstanding allies.

Together with Anglo Norse Society, Den Norske Klub has the pleasure of welcoming all club members and members of Anglo Norse Society to a Lighting of the Christmas Tree Drinks, Thursday 2nd December from 18.30 onwards.

The Lighting of the Christmas Tree Drinks Thursday 2nd December, will replace the regular Fredagspils due to take place Friday 3rd December.

Reservations are allowed from 14/07/2021 06:30 PM to 02/12/2021 10:00 PM.
