A journey through Australian contemporary art
The fruit of a meeting with a continent and its artists, “Arts d’Australie” was established in Paris in 1996 by Stephane Jacob-Langevin AM, a graduate from l’Ecole du Louvre.
The promotion of contemporary Australian art and its diversity, more so within aboriginal art than traditional western, is the essence of Arts d'Australie's activity.
On Tuesday 9th November 2021 at 6pm, St�phane Jacob of Arts d'Australie will take us on a journey through Australian contemporary art. Welcome!
Stephane Jacob-Langevin AM, a graduate from l’Ecole du Louvre, is an expert of indigenous Australian art and a member of the National French Chamber of experts specialized in artworks (CNES). Over 100 works coming from Arts d’Australie • St�phane Jacob are part of french public collections. He was appointed Honorary Member of the Order of Australia by Sir Peter Cosgrove, Governor General of Australia in 2018. On the occasion of Monaco’s National Day, H.S.H. Prince Albert II has nominated St�phane Jacob-Langevin AM to the rank of Knight of the Order of Cultural Merit In 2019.
